Become a part of our Arts Community

Arts Humanitas nurtures a supportive arts community and provides critical recognition for international impact artists. Any amount makes a big difference.

We thoughtfully curate art salons, immersive en plein airs and cultural biennials with artist awards, insightful talks, and publications through which we actively provide recognition for dedicated San Francisco artists,  connect engaged art professionals; and inspire wider audiences to invite rich cultural experiences into their lives.

Arts Humanitas is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening our connection to humanity and nature through art immersion, dialogue, and direct experience.

Our flagship project, the Art, Nature, Ecology SAN FRANCISCO BIENNALE, is dedicated to building a forum and digital platform that integrates art, nature experiences & interdisciplinary, ecological dialogue to explore climate values.

OUR GOALS

  1. To build a global community dedicated to purpose in a world that feels increasingly overwhelming due to climate disasters. Together, we open up to seek alignment between our humanity and actions, creating a more balanced co-existence with nature.

  2. To develop and maintain a highly visible online platform that serves as the reference point for contemporary artists, climate speakers, experts, scientists, and philosophers.

Both art and climate solutions are fueled by creativity. The Biennale will stand as both a celebration and a call for reflection: a space where creativity serves as a bridge among values, culture, and ecology, and where art can remind us of our shared responsibility to the Earth and all its inhabitants. As a full patron—and donor-supported nonprofit, your generosity empowers us to continue this vital work. Together, we can keep these experiences accessible and foster deeper connections with art, nature, and humanity.

BEQUESTS

You can make the most lasting gift of all by remembering Arts Humanitas with a bequest in your Will or Trust.

Bequests allow you to leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or specific assets such as stock, real estate or personal property in your will or trust.

With a bequest,

  • you retain control of your assets during your lifetime

  • you are free to modify your bequest if your circumstances change, and

  • you may direct your gift to a specific purpose or for general use.

There is no upper limit on the estate tax deductions for charitable bequests. Your gift will benefit Slide Ranch tomorrow just as you intend it to today.

The most useful bequest is an unrestricted bequest for the general purposes of Arts Humanitas.

INSURANCE & IRAS

Naming Arts Humanitas as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or donating funds from your IRA after your death is a thoughtful and lasting way help inspire future generations of environmental stewards.

Giving through your Life Insurance

You can provide now for a future gift by naming Slide Ranch as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.  At death, the proceeds from the policy are paid to Arts Humanitas, and we apply them to general purposes or a program you have designated.

Donating a Portion of Your IRA

To designate all or part of what remains in your IRA at death to Arts Humanitas, you must change the IRA's beneficiary designation. The IRA is the controlling document in this matter, not your will or living trust. To do this:

  • Contact whoever manages your IRA account and ask for a beneficiary designation form.

  • Tell your IRA account manager that you want to designate Arts Humanitas, a qualified California nonprofit organization, as a beneficiary of the account. Arts Humanitas’ EIN is #92-2927845.

  • Follow your account manager's instructions exactly.

Once you have made these changes, please notify us at hibdon.silvie at gmail.com

We will make sure your wishes are carried out, and include you in Arts Humanitas Legacy Society acknowledgements and events.
